Currently offered services
Employment Services-Assisting individuals , with various challenges, who are in search of employment,(basically volunteer or independent contractor) in an effort to consider a variety of adversities.
Community based activities- community outreach service for those in need, who currently live alone or with other family members to assist in employment, therapy,and ongoing educational pursuits. We are presently attempting to publicize offering clothing articles to neighboring organizations that extend assistance to people. We anticipate providing opportunities to engage in growing fresh produce and ornate plants.
Day Services - Summer, 2010- On-going educational and general services such as providing clothing and similar services priced economically and/ or at no cost,depending upon evidence of challenging circumstances.
Winter, 2010 or 2011- Plans to offer safe , affordable residency and daytime rehabilitation services, for people with challenges .
Hours of operation:
2:00 until 5:00 P.M.-Mon.,Wed.,Fri.
1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Tues., and Thur.
Recycling collection and direction services-Ongoing Donations/Collections of recyclables including: aluminum cans, electronic wastes, printer cartridges for delivery to recycling concerns and household goods usable clothing for resale/ or distribution to the needy people.Items offered for sale by Peaks' House are either modestly priced
or offered as donation(s) to people identified with challenges.
Proposed Services-FORTH COMING WITH DATES YET TO BE ANNOUNCED
Facility based activities- a short-term, live-in, resident facility for short-term rehabilitation and therapy.
Individual Transportation-limited transportation services, for individuals to work, shopping, appointments, etc.
